Coaching is a relationship focused on improving the quality of your life as you create your future. Coaching helps you determine and achieve personal goals. Coaching does not focus on dysfunction as therapy does, but on your strengths.
With your own coach you can:

- Set some big, audacious goals for your future
- Build in some time for fun with family and friends.
- Helps clarify priorities and set direction

How it works:
Personal coaching begins with an initial Coaching Design Session (usually 2 hours) followed by 1-1 appointments; one to four hours per month as needed. A typical coaching relationship continues from 3-18 months, depending on your needs.
When loss and grief has you feeling isolated or immobilized, it helps to actively engage your grief. One effective way to do that is to take a walk.
Therapeutic grief walks focused on healing from loss help move you through tough times. Walking in nature alleviates some of the stress of challenging life transitions and often generates helpful and hopeful perspectives.
Walks may be can be scheduled around painful anniversaries or holidays or may be a part of ongoing personal grief coaching.
Individual and group Grief Walks are held on walking trails in parks, around lakes and on Butterfly Labyrinths in the Twin Cities.
BUTTERFLY LABYRINTH WALKS
The Butterfly Peace Path Labyrinth is a sacred space designed to promote healing and transformation. This is a walking meditation. You can reflect on any issue or dream for your life while walking the labyrinth.
A labyrinth is not a maze, but a path. Walks can be organized for Celebrations, Memorials, Transitions, Healing and Peace events for schools, small groups and organizations.

Retreats for Women in Transition focus on Hope, Energy, and Resilience (HER)
“A Journey from What’s Lost to What’s Next” isn’t always scary, sad, lonely or serious. Memories can be sweet. Some of our stories are hilarious. Moving forward can be exciting. The journey can even be fun!
Retreats can be a day or weekend dedicated to you and your path through transition. They are offered in Minnesota, usually in spring or fall.
Private, customized retreats are available by arrangement.
Join a small group of women creating a new path for their lives. In just six sessions you’ll gain clarity and direction in an atmosphere of mutual respect and shared concerns. Group synergy results in more possibilities and perspectives to consider. Everyone learns from everyone else. Another benefit - group coaching is significantly less expensive than individual coaching.
We usually meet twice a month in a Twin Cities location. Some groups may be Virtual via conference calls when participants are located in different geographical areas. Groups are convened when 4 or more people with shared transitions or goals are ready to begin.

Presentations of 30-60 minutes are suitable for audiences of 20-200.
Most programs can be adapted from 1 ½ hours – ½ day for groups of 10 to 50 people.
